Grand Re-Opening Party - June 15th

We took over ownership of The Desert Air on July 1st of last year, and we were thrust immediately into one of the busiest weekends for Sanderson, the 4th of July Party. It was chaotic but memorable. I’m happy to say as we approach the 1 year anniversary of ownership, it’s still exciting and a pleasure to own the motel. We are proud of the work we’ve done to renovate and promote the motel, and we are proud of our management team for running a tight ship. We look forward to the years to come as we continue to make improvements and watch the motel thrive.

To celebrate the 1 year mark, we are having a Grand Re-Opening Party on June 15th (4-9pm). We welcome everyone to come and see the motel and tour our renovated rooms. We’ll have some games, prizes, live music (Sanderson Buzzards), and food and drinks for the attendees.

The party will start at 4pm, and conclude shortly after dusk with a “Sign Lighting Ceremony.” Between now and the party, we will be repainting the sign to the colors and design it was back in the 1960’s. And on top of that we will be outfitting the sign with LED neon lights. We cannot wait to power-on this iconic beauty!
