We're Expanding!

Hello friends, we’ve got a big announcement. We bought the Outback Oasis Motel in Sanderson! The Outback Oasis is another mid-century motel, originally named the Cactus Motel, in Sanderson, TX and the location couldn’t have been better…it’s right next to the Desert Air. Over the next few months, ok maybe years, we’ll be working to update the Outback Oasis and the connecting yard into one big Desert Air Motel property.

Roy and Ruth of the Outback Oasis are retiring and we’re so glad they’ve trusted us to maintain the Outback for future desert guests. Some of you may have heard about the Outback Oasis because it currently has a snake room just off the office. As cool as that is, the snakes will be going with Roy.

We’ve got some BIG plans for the properties and can’t wait to see you out in the desert as we continue to revive The Desert Air Motel and put Sanderson back on the map as a West Texas destination.
